Q: What is Deadstock DMV?

A: Deadstock DMV is your modern day consignment shop. We are the premier destination in the DC, MD and VA area to buy, sell and trade popular shoes, clothing, accessories and other gear. We specialize in providing Yeezys, A Bathing Ape, Supreme, Jordan's, foamposites and other exclusive and rare items.

Q: Do you only sell previously owned and gently used products?

A: No! We have lots of brand new products in our inventory, and we get new products in all the time. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when we get new stock.

Q: How can I sell my gently used or unworn items to you?

A: Call, text, e-mail or message us on any of our social media accounts to set up an appointment. We also accept walk-ins at the store. We will ask you for a picture, your asking price, and the condition of the item. If you live outside the DMV area, you'll have to send the item to us, in order for us to authenticate it. 

Q: Can I also sell gently worn apparel and accessories to Deadstock DMV?

A: At this time we only buy gently worn or unused footwear. Apparel and accessories must be brand new with the tags still attached.

Q: What are the guidelines for previously worn shoes?

A: Footwear must be in like new condition. They cannot have any major flaws or material damage.  

Q: How do you guarantee authenticity? 

A: Deadstock DMV customers can shop with confidence knowing every product is 100% authentic. Our team of authenticators has over 20 years of experience, and verifies every item that is bought and sold in house and online.

Q: What types of products are you looking for?

A: We are looking for popular, highly sought after shoes, streetwear and accessories. We are looking for products that are not easily found in stores because they are vintage, out of stock, collectors items or special editions. For example: Yeezys, Air Jordans, Air Force 1's, etc. 

 Q: How does trading work?

A: If you wish to trade your item, we would place a value on your trade and give you a store credit for any item in the store. 

Q: Will I be charged sales tax for my order?

A: Yes, all orders are subject to all applicable taxes (local, state, provincial, federal, and/or international) including sales tax, which may vary by state and country, and which change from time to time. Buyers are responsible for paying any and all applicable taxes/duties that may be due for any purchase transactions.

 Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: We pack and ship purchases within 48 hours of payment. For shipments to the Continental U.S. you can expect to receive your order within 5 business days. For international orders please allow up to two weeks. Please keep in mind that the COVID-19 pandemic has slowed shipping times quite a bit. Once it leaves our store it is out of our hands. You will be provided with a tracking number as soon as the carrier has the package.
